Sprinkler System Pipe Burst Causes Widespread Damage to Commercial Building

When the pipe to this sprinkler system in a Colchester commercial building broke, 14 rooms were affected in addition to the common areas and hallways. The SERVPRO of Southbury/Torrington crew is on call 24/7 and responded immediately to the call. 

The ceilings had collapsed I several of the rooms because of the water damage. Carpeting, walls and floors throughout the building were wet as well and required removal. Our team demolished and removed the damaged sheetrock from walls and ceilings, wet insulation and wet carpeting that could not be restored.  They then dried the structure out using dehumidifiers and air movers so that all the moisture was removed and reconstruction could begin.
